March of the Living
For students in grades 11 & 12:
In April, thousands of Jewish teens from around the world will share a once-in-a-lifetime experience when they march three kilometers from Auschwitz to Birkenau. Participants will experience a memorial service in Birkenau, then fly to Israel to celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut, Israel's Independence Day.
Masa Israel Journey offers over 200 study, internship, and volunteer opportunities all over Israel lasting between five and twelve months.
The Federation will offer scholarships to applicants who have been accepted to a MASA program – up to $2,000 to cover travel to and from Israel only. Scholarships are first come, first serve.

The Federation subsidizes an annual trip to Washington, D.C for limited number of students in 10th, 11th or 12th grade to participate in the Panim el Panim Seminar. Learn how to make a difference and advocate for the issues most important to you while exploring our nation’s capital.
Each year, The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee awards college scholarships to qualified applicants. In addition to general scholarships, there are three designated scholarships available.
Jewish teens are able to travel to Israel with the financial assistance of the S.K.I.P. Fund (Send-a-Kid-to-Israel Program).
It is important to allow these teenagers to share their experiences, as their stories affirm in the strongest way the importance of trips to Israel in keeping teens engaged in leading Jewish lives.
