YAD

About YAD
The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee presents the YAD: a group for Jewish adults in their 20s-40ish living in Sarasota and Manatee counties. This is a chance to meet other young Jewish adults in the area to socialize and volunteer.

YAD in Hebrew means Hand
Not only does Young Adult Division = Y.A.D. but it also means we’re extending our hand to you, to be a part of our community. After all, The Federation’s vision is: A vibrant Jewish community. So let’s give it to ‘em!

New to Sarasota-Manatee or to YAD? Let’s meet for coffee! We’d love to get to know you! And be sure to signup for our newsletter! Contact Jessi Sheslow at 941.371.4546 x102

YAD

“Tribefest really brought our local YAD together. Being there, listening to the speakers and meeting new friends really showed us how we can have a bigger impact on our community and I’m looking forward to helping plan and see what we can do back home.”
~ Abe Feder, Chair; Young Adult Division; Ezra Society Member

"Becoming a part of YAD was honestly one of the best decisions I ever made …In the short time I've been a part of YAD, I not only feel more connected to the Jewish community - but I also feel that I've made friendships that will last far longer than simply the next couple of months."

“It’s great to know that I moved to a community that has such open arms. I’ve truly found a place I can call home, made possible through my connections in YAD.”
