THE LARRY & MARY GREENSPON FAMILY CAMPUS FOR JEWISH LIFE

We are at a transformative moment in the life of our growing Jewish community. It is a moment rich with opportunity and significance for us and for the generations that follow.

Meeting community needs for decades to come requires a multifaceted 21st-century campus that will reflect our region's unique needsa and opportunities. In 2019, we engaged Brandeis University to conduct a demographic study, which showed that Sarasota-Manatee is one of America's fastest growing Jewish communities. The newly redeveloped Larry & Mary Greenspon Family Campus for Jewish Life will be our growing Jewish community’s home address‑‑a place for families and individuals, from babies to bubbies, to connect with and express their Jewish identity in their own unique way. Our vision is a vibrant campus with engaing and entertaining programs and events for all ages, and with different educational resources for families and individuals.

With so many options on our 33-acre campus for people of all faiths to learn and celebrate together, we are looking towards the future of Sarasota-Manatee.

Our campus will provide:

A Hub for Community Building

A warm place to meet, start friendships, engage volunteers and cultivate community leaders

An Oasis of Learning and Respectful Exchange

The campus will be a source to ensure that all are safe--not only phsyically--but also emotional and culturally, and welcoming of diverse viewpoints and traditions.

An Incubator for Arts and Ideas

This will build on our local Jewish community's vast contributions to the region's prominent arts and intellectual resources.

Premiere Spaces to Celebrate Meaningful Life Events

Local growth demand for meeting and event venues has outpaced supply, which is why we are providing the community with expansive space for conferences, special lectures, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and more!
