Club Fed Holocaust Awareness Lecture Series
Presented by Dr. Andre Krauss
This concluding lecture will focus on the Holocaust narrative and the vital and critical importance for educating the public about the Jewish tragedy during WWII. Holocaust denial is an active form of anti-Semitism and even illegal in some countries. And yet, today there is a more subtle, less overt effort to rewrite history in contemporary popular culture, films, literature, and even video game scenarios. We will examine these “counter-narratives” and evaluate their impact on the memory of the Holocaust, at a time when the generation of “Survivors” is fading beyond the horizon.
