We love our extended families. But sometimes, when we all get together, there can be fireworks. Perhaps this prompted George Burns to famously quip: " Happiness is having a large, loving, close-knit family living in another city." Our best intentions can be undone when old squabbles or new tiffs arise as families come together in larger numbers at the winter holidays. Even the most healthy families can experience tensions.
Join Community Chaplain, Rabbi Jonathan R. Katz, to explore how to deal with potential family conflict this time of year. Helpful insight and guidance along with a nice dose of humor will be shared during this inventive opportunity for exchange.
For those who are interested, you can enjoy lunch with Rabbi Katz at a local restaurant following the program.
