Arts educator Joan L. Davidson and Rabbi Goldie Milgram, co-presidents of the Association of Professional Jewish Artists, will guide one hour of sacred study and discussion followed by one hour of art-making and sharing. This session concerns listening and silence, combining Jewish spiritual texts in English and Hebrew on silence with reflections by Walt Whitman on listening and how sound shapes the self.
