Making Nature Accessible to Children & Adults with Special Needs
Hiking is a national pastime in Israel and unites all who participate. Jewish National Fund understands the vital role that hiking plays in the lives of Israelis and the immeasurable impact making nature accessible has, not just on the individual with a special need, but on their family and community as well. As part of its work to ensure that no member of society is left behind, JNF provides accessible hiking trails and educational nature activities around the country to children and adults with special needs, at risk youth, and residents of domestic violence shelters.
