Renowned Sarasota Opera principal harpist Giuseppina Ciarla will perform Sunday, June 26, 5:00 p.m., at Temple Sinai in a special benefit concert for Ukraine entitled Hope From The Harp. 100% of donations received will support medical aid and relief efforts for Ukrainians by Emergency USA, a non-profit organization which provides free medical care to victims of war and poverty. The organization has held the EU Humanitarian Partnership Certificate since 2020.
The entire community is invited to attend and hear Giuseppina Ciarla perform songs from her recently released critically acclaimed international album, “A Ticket Home.” The concert will feature Ms. Ciarla singing & playing the harp - a true rarity. She will be performing iconic Italian and American songs as well as her own compositions.
After a recent performance, the Albuquerque Journal praised her “elegant and agile musicality” stating that, “Giuseppina Ciarla certainly knew how to send waves of lush harmonies rolling throughout the space.”
Elie Rubinstein, Executive Director of Emergency USA, will speak about his organization and the ways it makes a direct impact on the lives of Ukrainians in crisis.
This is a special event not to be missed which is why Temple Sinai is offering a livestream option for those unable to attend in person. The cost to attend in person is $36/adult or $18/student and access to the private livestream link is $36/device. All donations are 100% tax deductible and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Emergency USA.
